USB hard drive makes sound when plugged in; does not show in Disk Mgmt
I have a 1tb Western Digital My Passport USB hard drive. Worked fine on my computer, brought it to a friend's, plugged it in, and it made the connection sound but did not show up anywhere. I thought that was odd since it had just worked on mine earlier that same day, we tried downloading the drivers for it, but not luck. Brought it home and now it won't show up any more on my computer. Not even in disk management, so assigning it a new drive letter isn't even an option for a solution. This is completely baffling to me. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it..
