    Problem finding drive in Computer

I have just thoroughly wiped a 500GB Seagate and disk parted it as per the tut readying a SSD because the Go Flex in the pic is in disarray and I want to transfer data to the HDD before I wipe the Go Flex.

Now the drive is showing up in the Partition Wizard but not my Computer window.

Have done diskpart > clean > create partition primary align=1024> Format> active > exit and list drive and partition show up it's there.

So what could I have done wrong?

Is it shown at all in Disk Management?

    With a drive letter?

Just beat you to it ignazatsonic - I hadn't given a thought to that and alls well I was too preoccupied I think with the Wizard and diskpart and as usual had flown over the really simple and obvious.

But thanks for the heads up it will make me a bit more attentive and less likely to go looking for something really technical and serious
