Windows 7: need new custom drivers for dvr surveillence device

i have my computer up to work with pretty much everything

i just meed a way of figuring out how to work my dvr3104

it doesn't have a bt878 chip but some other conexant one. wich i know is fairly not realiable to upgrade

im using a usb device and its compatible with q-see drivers

but im not sure how i can make it work before hand

i tried changing compadibility to windows xp sp2 because thats how my cmedia software worked for me on setup properties to work on 7



but for now i'll be waiting to see if q-see comes up with new ones

any ideas

since this is external unknown device i will wait to see if anyone knows by the chipset type. i will keep in touch
