Windows 7 Ultimate x64
HDD S.M.A.R.T Status bad, backup & replace

my BIOS says "S.M.A.R.T Status bad, backup & replace"

im using sabertooth P67 MOBO.

i know this is somekind of warning to HDD to fail.

i want to back up my data, but the problem is: MY COMPUTER WONT DISPLAY WHOLE HDD?! its gone from my computer totally. even disk management wont detect it. but still bios does.
is it already dead?
50% of my life is on that drive. please help!
