Safely Remove option does not appear for External eSata drive.

Hi, I am hoping someone can help me out. I have properly configured my Bios to AHCI for all drives and converted my external eSata drive to a dynamic drive. The system will recognize it when it is turned on, but then I can't eject/safely remove as this option is unavailable when connected via eSata, but it does work if connected via USB. I am using a BlacX dock to connect my harddrive to the computer. Is there a fix for my problem?
