I never thought of making a back up with it.
I'll have something to do tomorrow.

Here's another way to do a clean install using a HDD data drive. User Profiles - Create and Move During Windows 7 Installation

You guys have been great with your explanations. == One more thing. Paragon will transfer the entire OS partition which has programs also. After Paragon runs, I go into Bios and change boot order and set IDE to AHCI. == I currently have two partitions on my HD, one OS and one data. I want to get rid of the OS partition on the HD and have all data. If I entend the data partition to cover the whole HD, that will get rid of the OS, is that correct?

First things first. It would be better if you changed to ahci first. It can be done before or after, but it would just make the change of OS easier. Just follow that tutorial and it is simple. You can't just change bios from IDE to AHCI, it won't boot. You have to force the OS to load ahci drivers first. Once the OS has been transfered, you can delete your current OS partition and use the space for data. I haven't seen a shot of your disk management, but I suspect that your OS is the first partition on the drive. If you delete that, disk management can't move a partition to the left, it can only extend a partition to the right. That leaves you 2 options. 1. Transfer all of your data to another hard drive, format and repartition your current drive and move the data back. It will be 1 big data drive like you want. 2. use Partition Wizard to move the partition to the left. It would be a lot easier if we could see a screenshot of your Disk Management.

That should work OK Jim, but as always, back up stuff in case. I'd make sure the new drive you migrated to will boot first too.

One more of my "Never-Ending" questions -- Once I get the SSD OS migrated and in working shape, can I use Macrium to backup and restore or do I need to always use Paragon?

You use Macrium, Paragon will only migrate the OS. I use Microsoft synctoy. It is a one for one copy, not an imaging program.

Sorry, I think I misunderstood the question. I thought you were talking the data drive. For the OS, use macrium for imaging. Paragon will only transfer the OS. I use paragon for a backup OS, in case of failure, but for imaging use Macrium.
