Hard Drive locked

Hello, everytime I start my laptop it shows an all black screen with the hard drive model and asks for my password. I know the password and enter it this is no problem but how can I get it to stop asking me for a password everytime I start the laptop? I went into BIOS and it does not let me highlight the hdd password to change or delete it, so I am guessing it is not in bios. Laptop works fine no problems at all just don't want to have to keep entering the pw every time I turn it on. Not sure if it matters but I am using windows 7 ultimate and it's a Gateway ID49c laptop. Thanks

Possible reason, there may be 2 different bios accounts\passwords, one for general users (with restrictions) and one for admin (with access to all settings).
