    Quick fan question

It's normal for a fan to rev up on boot before post and then slow back down when it's connected to the motherboard, correct?

I figured this would be easy.

    I never noticed that happening.

I never noticed until I restart. I can slightly hear the fans getting faster and then slow back down to normal before it hits the bios screen.

I heard it now, because I was paying attention on a restart.
Sounded like it was the GPU fan, and it stayed revved up all through the boot sequence until the first Win 7 load screen. Then all quieted down.
Might have been the CPU fan too.
They probably go full on until they can get monitored by the OS.
