    hardware issue, sound & frame shocking

    Hello,

    So when I play games, the sound sometimes "hangs" (short fragment gets repeated) This also happens with the screen, and at first I would claim it on software (game to heavy, drivers, ect) but I recently reïnstalled my computer (full clean). So my windows is bright clean. The games them self are pretty old and with the same settings I managed to play them on other installations in the past (same computer). Even while playing music and browsing the web, sometimes this issue strikes.

    I have a few "errors" on my hard drive, though they don't increase anymore, and I believe the cause where bad handeling of my laptop in the past. My next guess would be sound/grafix unit/card ? But I have really no idea. Would someone have a idea where or what to look for ?

    My computer is a laptop elitebook HP 8530p. (4GB ram, 32bit)

    Any help is appreciated.

    I'm reading up on similar issues, and it seems this might be driver related anyway, though i never had it before i'm trying to reinstall my sound drivers now.

    //Edit

    my attempt failed, windows auto-installed it again and same issue. I tried to play LoL (league of legends) and its just unplayable cause of the sound hanging.
