Sound card/sound problem questions?
So Im having a few problems with sound on my laptop. The first one is that sometimes my sounds will be working fine (play music and videos) but then it will just stop working and wont play any audio. I noticed that this mostly happens when I plug/unplug my headphones while the music is playing that it will stop. The cure is that I put my laptop to sleep and wake it up again, and that solves it but there must be another reason.
another is the my past 3 laptops had built in webcam/mics. My work has me using the webcam feature a lot but my past 3 laptop mic's were really really soft. That's why I keep buying new ones, because i have to yell just to be heard and thats after I went to control panel and change the levels of the mic and mic boost to max but it doesnt help.
I also changed the setting in skype, where I use video chat. After buying so many laptops and all of them having bad mics, I bought a headset with a mic, but still just as bad. So there must be something wrong, or a setting im missing?
Could these have anything to do with it?
