Enter sleep mode after upgrading video card
I have a major problem after I made an upgrade to my video card... instead of entering in windows the PC enters in sleep mode. I tried with 2 video cards ( gainward thx 460 and ASUS 550TI ) so far and with both i hade the same problem, but not with my old video card ( GAINWARD 8600gt ).
Its not a PSU problem.. i tried with another PSU( enermax 525W gold certified ) and i had the same problem.. i entered the video cards in another sistem ( 1155 kitt ) and works with no problem. Its not a memory problem, i ran a memtest and no errors( and the old video card works just fine ) i reinstall win and no luck there. I have the latest BIOS on the mobo, i reset the jumpers the battery and rewrite the BIOS, still no change. No weird sounds inside the case, the components just works with no image.
Is there maybe a BIOS setting that I must make ? I tried with each slot of ram in another slot of the mobo.. stil nothing .
I did everything i read on the ethernet, really dont know what i can do more.
Anyone got any ideeas ?
My sistem specs are :
ASUS P5QL PRO
2x2 mushkin 996599 + 2x1 twin2x ( they run in dual channel at 800 mhz)
I dont have a PSU cuz i want an upgrade.. i had a tr2 470W
video : ASUS gtx 550ti
THX for attention,
