CPU temperature

    so i think it passed as my t junction is around 100 degrees. taking into account my ambient temperature i think its fine. but i needed to make sure. thank you. looks like i need a cooling pad :)

    ok tonight i will test it in a ac room with 22 degrees...what should be normal at that temp?

    You've got the ac blowing right onto the laptop? I'd reckon about 70 - 80 C would be normal with IBT...

    Remember, the laptop is handicapped by its poor ventilation and design for dissipating heat...

    EDIT:- IBT is an outlier when it comes to temperatures, no other program will ever raise your temperatures as high as IBT will..

    no the air will not blow into it. but, i will be in AC room.
    BTW did i damage any component at 92 degrees?

    You didn't run at that temperature for long right?

    Temporary high temperatures are fine, but it's the prolonged stress on the system at high temperatures that will damage your components...

    i ran the test 5 times on maximum and it took 4 min. each. so thats around 20 min.

    and one last think. what is the usual normal temperature for my kind of laptop? i think i made a mistake buying 2GB GPU

    Normal temperature when running games?

    high 60 - 70 C


    Watching movies?

    50 - 60 C

    Or Idling?

    The temperatures you posted in your earlier screenshot that was in the 50s are normal....

    Remember, your ambient temperatures will greatly influence your results.
