Yeah, it has come to that.
I have been experiencing issues with my current GPU for a year now, and since the summer started, and all these hot hot days, I pretty much can't do anything with my PC. Vista can bare the faulty GPU, but Windows 7 absolutely refuses to work properly for even the slightest of tasks such as HD video, which is unbearable.
So since I don't have the money for a whole new rig anymore, I would like some advice about a new GPU. The cheapest one out there is an nVidia 210, which is really really cheap, but if I can wait a couple more months to stash away more cash, I would gladly buy a better one.
My only concern, however, is if a particular GPU can be placed inside my motherboard (specs are listed beneath the post, check it out). I really know nothing about hardware in this case. How do these new GPUs fare against older motherboards?
And yeah, I shouldn't forget to mention that I'm only interested in nVidia cards.
