Im running windows 7 home premium 64 bit on a quad core laptop. Everything is updated fine the issue started after i restarted my computer. Neither my wired or wireless controllers now work.

Troubleshooting your Xbox 360 Controller for Windows and a few others but im missing Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class in device manager anymore when i uninstall and reinstall drivers it does not give me 2 lines of installed drivers just the 360 controller now and not the Microsoft Common Controller for Windows Class. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also these controllers work fine on my xbox.
http://i558.photobucket.com/albums/s...o/Untitled.png Shows up identified and like normal under devices however it does not get picked up by xbox accessories 1.2 and the controller only lights up when the computer is started for a brief moment. UPDATE: if i double click the controller from device list it opens up the games installed and allows me to run them from there. However the controller still does not light up this leads me to beleive something is still wrong
USB and Portable HD will no longer work, drivers will not install
