Are you sure your temps are OK? if a processor gets over the recommended maximum you get freezes.
Is your precessor actually a, Athlon 64 X2? if is that the model I think, you are running short in that aspect, and I can even think your MoBo will likely not even help with the internal data buses (if it is an AM2 board at least)
