Building a compact home storage server
I am planning on building a home storage server to keep all my data in it and possibly stream the data to my PS3.
I am thinking of getting the following:
Chassis: CHENBRO SR30169T2-250
MoBo: ASRock H77M-ITX
CPU: Intel Core i3-2120
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB
Raid Card: StarTech PEXSAT34
Storage HDD: 4x WD Caviar Green WD20EARX 2TB
OS HDD: WD Scorpio Blue WD1600BPVT 160GB
As for the OS, I might either get Win 7 or FreeNAS 8. I need something easy to use.
I am fairly new to this, so I would appreciate any advice.
