Second RAID 1 Mirror
I would like to ask a question please.
My motherboard has 6x SATA and 2x SATA-E ports.
I currently have my system hard drive and my DVD drive in SATA 1 and SATA 2.
In SATA-E 1 and SATA 6 ports I have a RAID 1 mirror of 2x 1TB HDD setup using disk management in Windows 7 control panel.
My question is; can I plug another two 1TB HDD into SATA-E 2 and SATA 5 and make another mirror? When I tried this earlier I lost the existing mirror, and one of the drives reported it had lost "plex". The existing mirror is now resynching, I wondered if what I want to do is even possible? mtia
