Lost My Battery!

    Lost My Battery!


    I lost my battery!

    Sows me: 0% (pluged in,not charging)

    Battery is in my laptop but not charging,so if i diconect cable laptop turns off!

    Using Windows 7 Ultimate,Laptop Hp Pavilidon DV7!

    What to do need new battery?

    One guy sad that is HP bug for pavilions is it right?

    Rechargeable batteries have a finite lifespan. If the battery is 3 or 4 years old it would not be unusual for it to die.

    If you decide to get a new replacement battery it is generally OK to get a generic replacement so long as the output voltage is the exact same as the OEM spec.

    To some, everything they don't understand is a bug. A nice, easy, meaningless answer. But if the laptop and battery is fairly new, then it is (remotely) possible that there is a problem in the power circuitry on the motherboard.

    What is the full model number of the pc. HP DV7 isn't the entire number. I need that to be able to show you where to get a new battery.

    OK. In that case its possible that you need to purchase a new one - see post #2
