| | Installing OS on SSD from set of recovery discs I have a question regarding loading a system backup to a new SSD. If i have a laptop, and i make a set of recovery discs, can i then replace the 5400 spinner with an SSD and then load the system recovery discs to get it back to the OS and my preferences, or will this not work properly? If not, what are the particular pitfalls in doing this? thanks |
