Ok so that means that I should get the first one and then the second on or what? Thanks.

I repeat that I haven't done this.
Apparently there are drivers for Windows 7 as part of the Bootcamp package. They can be extracted and run separately. No Apple hardware is required. I suppose that the link that you post automates the process.
I admit that I was looking for this sort of thing in the hope of getting an external device for Win8 that supports gestures. (The Microsoft Touch Mouse might be a better choice, but I worry that its battery life is poor.)
Thanks, I do know about the Microsoft mouse, but I have already ordered the magic mouse so. Plus, I would prefer it over the Microsoft mouse. Thanks.
Also, emarescek, will the first link install bootcamp on my laptop?
Oh ok
Just out of curiosity, is there an apple mouse that looks exactly like the magic mouse, but it has a scroll wheel?
Just to add to this, I have a mac and I have installed windows 7 on it. The magic mouse does work on it however since it is a specialized device you must have drivers from apple. Boot camp does install those drivers however I haven't tried to extract them for use on another computer because my desktop doesn't have blue tooth.
You get almost as much functionality with it on 7 as you do on mac however the 2 finger swipe doesn't work. You do have the basics: right/left button click and wheel scroll. According to wikipedia use can be further customized using third party software however I don't know what there is.
As for comparable devices I don't know of any.
I came across these utilities, but as of this posting have not tried them yet, as I need to backup/create restore point first. I will update as I do.
This video shows the demo of the tool located in the comments section of the video.

seems to have good feedback from a user on another forum, but again I have not tested.
