The only way to connect the device to your PC is via bluetooth, so yes.
According to the link I shared, touch scrolling is supported but it doesn't mention anything about the gestures. If they're not important to you then it looks like it's a moot point.
The site confirms the mouse will only do basic functions-
So far we can approve that the driver
adds vertical and horizonal (touch) scrolling. Unfortunately we haven't found any configuration options for the Magic Mouse, that's why we can't provide a Control Panel.
Just run the driver installer first and then install the utilities for a smoother scrolling experience. I would test this driver for you but I don't have a magic mouse
