I WAS trying to type this and attach pictures on my Nintendo 3DS at once but the @#*&$% site broke! So, let's try this again.
So, I had an interesting find over the weekend, but just as soon as I got home with it and plugged it into a USB port, it started whining at me about, "This disk needs to be formatted, Please insert disk, This is the wrong disk, Unable to format the disk, Can't access the device," etc. ad nauseaum. It makes me wonder if this thing is even Windows 7, or Windows 8 compatible.
The device is a 64 MB digital voice recorder with storage to hold up to 25 hours of sound, but it stores it in an incompatible format, "VOC". I tried to use a couple of audio processors and multimedia players and they couldn't open it correctly.
This device is most likely a USB 1.1 device, because of the slow transfer speed and the size of the internal flash memory.
So, what's your insight on this? Are there
drivers for it, or how do you get around an issue about an incompatible file format?
