Installing new RAM into premade computer

I have an Acer Aspire AM3400-E2212, with an AMD 880G chipset, and I am just wondering would Corsair Vengeance 2x2GB 1600Mhz DDR3 work with this computer?

CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 635 Quad-Core (came with computer)
    RAM: DDR3 2x2GB 1333Mhz (came with computer)
Everything in the computer are the ones that came with the computer, except my ATI radeon HD 5670 1GB graphic card.

    Maybe.

If you mix 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz RAM, it all will run at 1333. I suggest that you either buy 1333, or replace it all with 1600.

Does the Acer have BIOS settings that would permit you to run RAM at 1600 MHz? Faster memory may default to 1333 anyway. (That would be true for an Intel motherboard. I'm not sure about AMD; I haven't used an AMD CPU since the Socket 939 days.)

I don't really know if my BIOS have any settings for RAM, but I know its a American Megatrends Inc. Version: P01-A2

Are you adding or replacing the memory? Running two different types, especially in an OEM computer, always presents the possibility of the RAM not playing nice together. It's always best, if possible, to use identical memory.

You also have to be sure the memory is compatible with your system.

If it was me, given the low cost of memory now, I'd go for a 2x4 kit and just use that. As long as it's compatible with your system, you wouldn't have to worry about any other issues. It's always safer to run 2x4 than 4x2....if that makes sense.

The only thing I don't know is if it will work, with my computer.

I've tried checking it before but it only gives me 2GB cards, insted I have 4 slots. The card I bought is 2x2Gb 1600Mhz, DDR3, with 1.5V.

So Basically I have to either switch the old rams and replace it with the faster newer ram in order for it to work, or buy a 1333Mhz Ram card.
