Mouse and Keybored stops working at login screen

    Hi

So I have a little problem with my mouse and keyboard. It stops working at the login screen. The same thing happens when I try to log on safe mode, etc.

Anyone got any ideas how I can fix this?

Are you able to log in to W7 at all?
    Hi Welcome to Seven Forums.
To help all of us would you please add your systems specs? Here's how: System Info - See Your System Specs
Under System Manufacturer/Model Number add desktop or laptop and whether self built.

You can easily copy/paste from within the app, no install required.

Sounds like your USB has stopped working. Try different USB ports and different keyboard and mouse if possible.

Ok thanks. I will give it a go but I find it strange as it works when I turn my computer on as I am able to enter BIOS with it. It also works fine when I load the windows 7 CD just not when I try to log in at the welcome screen.

I forgot to mention it is a wireless keybored and mouse.

Very odd behavior. You can try a Repair Install
Also try updating your BIOS if there is a newer one.
I don't know your specs so can't tell about the BIOS

Hmm, wireless are they, Have you tried new batteries?
