    Disabling Touchpad


    I was always able to do this in device manager in WinXP but the is no disble button in Win7. Uninstalling only results in reinstallation next time the machine is booted. Any ideas please.

    looking at a small pic of your keyboard layout in google images ,it looks like if you press the Fn key and the F10 key at the same time it will disable the touchpad, probably it will be re enabled when you next boot ,so as i do with my lappy try remember each time you boot, it only takes one messed up sentence in a post to realize its still on.
