    Orientex mini keyboard

Hi,I'm having a problem connecting my Orientex bluetooth mini keyboard to my computer. I do everything the manual tells me to do but windows won't find the device.

    Thanks,
    -Rick

EDIT:The keyboard works on every other pc I use.

I'm having the exact same issue. Did you ever have any luck?

Jeez, do these mini keyboard people even have a website? It would be nice if I could know exactly what these steps were that you followed.

Does your laptop have a button/switch somewhere that allows you to enable/discover wireless devices? Did you turn on the mini keyboard before you went to "Add Devices"? Do you need to download some software from HP to enable Blue Tooth?

There's no button on my laptop I think I need HP wireless assistant but I uninstalled then re-installed it and now it won't work

So you went to this page and followed the necessary steps to get the right software? If it still doesn't work I'm out of ideas.

I went to that page but I didn't see a Bluetooth driver for download.

Well, near the top right of that page, you'll see this:
"Let HP scan your system for out-of-date and missing drivers and software"
and it'll have a button "Check Now" you can click on.

I'd go that route because I looked in the networking section for the 64 bit Win7 and found a few different bluetooth downloads, and I'm really not sure which one you would need. Unless one of these: 1, 2, and 3 ring a bell for you.

I tried to download and install them but the Bluetooth downloads basically say "you need to have your device plugged in and running". So I plugged it in and turned it in but it doesn't work I think windows 7 has the worst Bluetooth device finder out of Vista and XP. Because the keyboard works on Vista and XP it's very annoying that 7 isn't finding it.
