Well, I'm happy you have it fixed like you like it. But, I'm only sorry you had to take it somewhere and pay someone to do it. Of course, like F5ing said, hang around here for a while and you may be the next head of tech support at Fry's. You'd be amazed at the knowledge there is here at Seven Forums. Congratulations on your new build, and you were never a pain. You were what we all come here for.
The best way to learn is to learn it yourself, via trial and error. It sticks in ur head better that way.
But yea, i know... Those guys just have A+ certs and got the job. That basically just teaches you how to identify parts by counting pins, etc and little else.
The senior techs do well... but i dont think their are enough of them. The workload is too much and it effects their attitude as well as their quality of work.
I had him do cable management for me as well as hook everything up. I pay 17.50+tax. I asked nicely if they could meet me in the middle since that was the 3rd time i'd been up there to get this issue resolved. The manager of the store said "No problem".
Thanks again guys!
Very interesting stuuf here. Doing wiring is the bane of myself and Essenbe. If you can get that understood you are well on your way to being a good builder yourself.
In fact I'm in the middle of obsessing over my own wiring.
LoL. I will be happy to do so but i am extremely busy at the moment to take apart my case and take pictures. fixing this thing took like 2-3 days of my time and to be honest, i am tired of opening it haha.
I will be glad to when i got the time! Check my system specs, they are accurate =)
Good job, I'm glad you have it finished. But, seeing as you are taking pictires, there is a special place on this forum just for pictures. https://www.sevenforums.com/overclock...g-3-a-164.html
Duly Noted...
I will be more than happy to show off my Rig once i'm done with it... i have like 4 towers and spare parts laying around that i need to put together aspa and sell so it might be awhile.
Off Topic.....
Currently I've re-installed windows for literally the fifth time. It kept creating the system partition file on my 7200RPM Hitachi, NOT my OS drive which is an SSD. Which will obviously reduced speeds, plus my comp was acting funny. I've fixed it... but i want to know WHY this happened!
I've disconnected all drives except SSD, and re-installed AGAIN. hopefully the windows image i created works so that i don't have to re-install those damn updates.
