USB Problems, Errors and port problems!

I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop, not to long ago I had to replace my hard drive. After that I reinstalled windows 7. Before this the usb devices would charge just not be recognized. Now only ONE port does everything (charge, sync, etc.) the other two just stopped working. I have no clue if its a software issue or what?! Help please!

I've already tried going to device manager and uninstalling the usb ports, they reinstall fine. but the devices still dont work. also when nothing is plugged in, i get a "usb device not recognized??"

Sounds like a driver issue to me. After the re-install of 7, did you go to dells website and download all the current drivers for your laptop.

I've already did that. Windows update shows no updates for anything either!
