RAM normally should be in pairs, to work at it's best potential, so if possible yes, however it's not bad to use other RAM instead, just you might not get as much performance increase, as if you were to use 2 of the same make of RAM.

    Thanks Cryptoncore .

I have picked out from Crucial already , just wonder that adding more is better ..?

I could go for 8GB stick to make it 12GB ...because i only have 1 slot option .

So ...4GB stick is the best choice for my laptop ..?

I for example had an old computer which could only accept pairs of the same size ( 2 x2 gig, 2x 4 gig and 2, 8gig) if you get what im saying. but it was a very old computer that used ddr2. might not apply to ddr3
