| | asus m4a89td pro/usb3 ahci mode cant install windows, no hard drive i have a asus m4a89td pro/usb3 brand new motherboard with a new silencio 550 atx case with 550w psu. but im using my 1tb harddrive from my acer x3400g oem slimline desktop for now anyways. when i set my motherboard to ahci mode it doesnt detect any of my sata ports but my dvd drive to install windows. ive tried in ide mode and then use the registry trick changing 3 to 0 in the start of msahci and stuff like that. still no go. on my acer when i reinstalled windows it would detect it and then restart my computer with the ahci installed after windows restarted. plz help this is very frustrating especially since im about to get my new ssd in soon. |
