Keyboard and mouse won't work on welcome screen

Hi, my problem is when I start the computer and get to the login screen; Im unable to choose the user because neither my keyboard and mouse don't work. I also can't get to the safe mode. I've got USB Wireless mouse and keyboard and it works in bios. I didnt make any changes to the computer lately so I have no idea what could cause the problem.

    Hi,

Can you try a fresh battery/batteries in the mouse and see if that isn't the issue?

    Hi,

In the BIOS, can you check to see that a function called "USB Legacy" or similarly named is ON?

I did a full cmos reset so it's on default now. It didnt work. After that I tried putting everything about USB to "Enabled" or "auto".

    Hi,

I'm talking about a specific setting with the word 'Legacy' in it - do you see a setting like that?

Check page 44 of your motherboard manual. Get it here:
