    Updating a motherboard

I want to update my motherboard from the IP-35 to IP35 pro.

What are the best steps, backup the files first? the system is win 7.

The change over the mobo and select repair win7?

Can I do this from the flash drive?

    Thanks,

    Neil.

To my mind unless the recommended bios are different you may well just be able to disconnect the old mobo and install the new and boot right up. You can then update any different mobo drivers and you're done !

ok so if I flash my current mobo with with the lastest bios then on installing the new mobo flash that with the latest bios, I will only then have to update any mobo drivers on request?

No reason I can see why you need to flash your current mobo. I've only run into a problem with one mobo where the new mobo was running an old bios that wasn't compatible....likely you won't have this problem but comparing the versions of the bios at the mobo mfgr's site will help and if the same then you should have little to no issues.
