It is becuase the resolttion viewed on lcd of camera is small enough to view better quality images. While when it comes to larger pixels/resolution monitor, it goes off!
How many megapixels camera you have? 14!!!
There's no reason why this camera should not produce fairly high quality images but it does depend to a large extent what settings you use. What ISO is it normally set to and what image quality have you chosen. What size is a typical image file (in Mb's I mean) The fine quality JPEG setting should give you an image of a bit over 5Mb!
Sorry, but its nothing to do with camera settings, i use various. Its a computer colour setting problem which i just cannot find out.
All pics on camera screen look fine. once moved to computer they are very dull and need serious editing. Contrast, saturation, shadowing etc.
Go to the Windows sample images and see what hey look like on your screen. Libraries/Pictures/Sample pictures
done that. all other pics ok. just from camers they are lifeless
How are you transferring from the camera to your PC?
Which one of these settings do you use:
Fine / Standard / RAW+Fine / RAW+Standard / RAW
