| | Win 7 cannot find 2nd. HDD Dell Dimension with 2 500 GB drives. Win 7 Home Premium 64 BIT Bios sees both 0 & 1 (cannot select HDD 2 as boot drive if that means anything) Device manager sees both and as working Disk Manager does NOT see second drive (scrolled up & down) Received replacement drive from Dell - no help Cables and MB connections have been swapped repeatedly - no change Power connections have been swapped Any ideas beyond the above? Just for anyone who might have same problem - I installed an SSD and bingo - both drives popped up. Go figure. |
