    Acer 7750g-9657 type of ram

I heard that some ram wont for the laptop even if the specs match so i was wondering if anyone knew if this set of ram is compatible.

    Newegg.com - G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8G) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model F3-10600CL9D-16GBSQ

If there are other rams you guys recommend i should get instead feel free to post them!
was wondering if i should get 4x4gb or 2x8gb ram

The maximum RAM supported by your laptop is 8GB. Do not buy more than that.

Acer specs show DDR3-1066 RAM (PC3-8500). You should get the same.

The problem is that Acer does not give the RAM voltage. You might pull the existing stick out and look to see if it is listed on the stick.

The RAM timings are not as important if you are replacing both slots, but I have had good luck upgrading RAM in laptops by just buying one additional stick and matching the specs of the existing stick exactly. Laptops do not seem to be as fussy as desktops when it comes to RAM.

Acer is terrible in giving out their specs. You might find something different in your manual or from their support site.

But this is where I got my info:
    AS7750G-9823 | Product Model

    It is clear as mud.

Newegg is usually pretty good with their specs. And seeing that the specs from Acer are not clear, I think you would be safe enough trying the 16GB and see.
