How to create a bootable iso usb for Hitachi feature tool

I downloaded the iso image that is to be made in a bootable CD , but i want to burn it to a usb stick (i never got a working bootable CD in the past to work and i'd rather not waste 10+ cd's again).

I've tried every program i could find.

Either i get "disk error" when i boot from usb or just a pulsing _

I will link you to the application page and manual.

    Hi,

Exactly which tools did you try? Have you tried YUMI?

I am running win 7, will it work?

I will try it and reply .

Anyway i fixed the problem by getting smartmon tools on windows and setting it up so the drive won't unload like mad and i added a script to run the commands each time i log on.

I am still trying to do this though, because this solution (booting and setting) is set in stone and i won't have to do it each time i reinstall windows .

Yeah , i should sleep now.

Anyway the purpose of me making that bootable stick was to solve the problem of my HDD parking it's head like crazy.

As for what i've tried: poweriso , magic iso, x's tool for bootable usb, ultral and one more i think.

Will try that tool in the morning.

Thanks Golden, worked like a charm.

I'm still pissed at all those apps using false advertising.

More then a few times in the last years i've tried making bootable cd's with explicit commands from these programs like nero , power iso and others: CREATE BOOTABLE ISO/CD

And they didn't boot - ever.

WHY??? Haha this really pissed me off.

Thankfully i now have this program.
