| | Got it! First - In device manager, hit view --> show hidden devices. Are there any hidden/non-plug and play devices that aren't functioning properly? And what is the complete error message in device status on the DVD drive? Then I found this http://pcsupport.about.com/od/findbyerr ... -error.htm I tried #6 "Delete the UpperFilters and LowerFilters values in the registry" and it WORKED!!!!!! Thanks for the posts and I hope this may help someone else in the future. |
