Memory usable Vs Unused Dell Win 7 64 bit

    Hey,
I'm sorry to post again about this problem but it drives me mad!
I just can't get my memory to work.
Got 8 x 2GB sticks and when all installed the Buzz of death goes off and that's it.
If only installed in slots 1 and 2 everything's OK.
    If in 1, 2, 3 and 4 ... Buzz of death.
If in 1 and 2 and 7 and 8 as in image below, 8GB installed 4 GB Usable
    Please can you help?

We can`t help you without knowing the exact make and model of the pc, please fill in your specs completely.

Are they all the same speed ?

Are they all the recommended speed ?

    And Welcome to Seven forums

    Hey AddRAM,
thank you for the welcome message and your reply.
The PC is a Dell Precision T5400 with 2 quad processors @3Ghz
Now I've tried again for a few hours and all 16 GB of RAM is showing as installed
but only 8 usable. Also tried all the msconfig.exe possible combinations but no change.
I'm attaching a couple of snips for you to look at.
    Best Regards
    Julie
