    my pc is not detecting my hard drive


    hy one day i was playing mafia ii and all of the sudden everything stops my desktop was empty error message everywhere my pc couldnt find my hard drive . i used sistem restore now every picture and all my music is gone .i cant save any game or save settings to my software please help is my hdd broken ?

    thank you i have found some soft ware but unfortunately toshiba hasnt got a program that runs on windows 7
    heres the list and none of them work.

    i think i might as well had a virus because lots of my data is hidden but ill keep trying

    Hello.


    If you feel you have a virus you may want to do a clean install and start over from scratch to over-write the virus, sometime that's the only, best option, have a look at the info below.


       Information

    If you want to do a clean install anyway, this may be a better process, after you have copied out or made back-ups of the data you need to save to external media and want to do a complete wipe secure erase of the entire Hard Disk Drive / Solid State Drive, have a look at Step One of the Optimize tutorial below then boot the Windows installation media to start the Windows 7 clean install process.
