cpu fan irratic behavior
hello, my cpu fan when starting up in the morning after being switched off for a few hours. Starts spinning either quietly or noticably louder.
i have Cool'n'quiet enabled, Q-fan enabled on standard. these settings never change but the cpu fan changes speeds regardless. at first i thought it may just be different cpu loads. but at startup much less likely.
Sometimes it fluctuates from quiet to loud as windows 7 loads up.
does anybody know what i should do to fix this.
Oh, i should also note that i have recently changes motherboards. from an asus crosshair IV to asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0. my cpu has not changed. would it be a conflict issue? new mobo is am3+ my cpu is a phenom 2 am3 1100T x6 core
also, i am concerned that when i switch the pc off. the fans spin up or down the last second before the power is turned off.
