This....I do need to add something extra. On Asus' website, there will be quite a few Intel drivers that are similar and easy to mix up, make sure you read it carefully, you want INTEL RAPID STORAGE TECHNOLOGY. The version I am running is 11.1.0.1006, although, I think 11.2 is out now.

Also, you may need to physically go into Firefox options and uncheck default browser, and then check it again. See if that works.

Thanks agin.
I'll download your suggestion.

Also, after I did more updates, the links now work.
I just thought they would do it automatically, instead of me having to check for updates every 10 minutes.

This will be my last post to bother you.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Oh, you need to check for updates several times after a clean install. Just when you think you are up to date, check again. Suggestion: Leave IE9 update until you have all other important updates on, then put it on. It just works better that way.

You aren't bothering me at all, I'm just sitting here watching Boxing lol

Hi Kelly,

I know I said I wouldn't bother you again - I Lied!

The externals did show up after I downloaded other updates.

I just ran a new Windows Experience.

I think the install of the image from the hdd was the total blame.

I would probably keep the drive and if it does go tits up sometime in the future, it has a good warranty.

Hey Kelly,

I just got a new SSD - Samsung 840 evo 250 gb.

I did all the good stuff on Magician and ran the Benhmark and Crystal disc mark and they are WAY Different.

Could the Crystal disc be that wrong?

Thanks,

Paul
