    Going from single channel to dual channel memory will have very little affect on your computer. You would have to run benchmarks to even see a difference...as it won't be clearly noticeable.

    Going to an SSD is a definite noticeable upgrade. Everything is snappier, and the system runs cooler and uses less power, which would lengthen your battery life.
