    connecting nokia cellphone


    hi,
    in Device Stage:

    why does my Win7 doesnt show the N85 pic like the picture bellow ?

    and instead it shows like this..

    Hello Uriya, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    Double check to see if you have your Device Installation Settings set like the screenshot under step 5 in the tutorial below.

    Device Installation Settings

    10x, but still it didnt replace the generic icons..


    i did the steps below:

    and still after i updated win7 the situation is the same:

    Uriya,

    It may be that they just do not have a custom icon for that Nokia phone to replace the default one yet. I'm not certain why if it does have one.

    So far, only my default printer has a custom icon. If and when they update them, they should get replaced then hopefully.

    Hi Nigel,

    It's a feature of the Office 2010 Technical Preview. I haven't really dug into it yet though.

    a good example is the picture bellow presnted the N85..
