Windows7 Shutting down over and over again

I opened my laptop this morning and now I get a black screen with a message saying Wondows instaltion was not sucessful... (I didnt not try to install anything)

then after 5 seconds a blue screen comes up saying Windows is shutting down. This repeats over and over again.

I cannot access any desktop, shut down, or admin log in

    I pulled the battery
    I tried Ctrl/Alt Delete
    I tried F8 safe mode

I have not tried throwing it against the wall yet, but it's a possibility

    Any advice would be appriciated,
    Thanx

Throwing it against the wall isn't usually covered under warranty, but other than that it sounds like a great idea.

    Just kidding.

Have you booted to a live CD to eliminate hardware issues ?? I'd do that and put it through its paces as much as I could, assuming it boots and runs the live OS.

Try that and we'll go from there.

If you can get to the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" on start up by pressing F8, then try "Last Known Good Configuration".
