Now I have a whole NEW problem!
I actually ran the sea tools "long test" as you suggested, and it ran for 5 hours and it passed, which is great!
However, my new problem is
I've read a lot of things online about this happening, but not sure if it applies with me as most suggest needing to update. I had this problem when I originally bought the SATA hdd and when I was trying to fix it myself, I partitioned the main hd and messed the whole pc up. I had to send it in for repairs and when I got it back, the technician told me the computer had automatically read it as 3TB when they re-installed windows 7.
That said, I'm happy it looks like the disk drive is still working, but am very nervous about trying to fix this issue.
Should I post a new thread or do you by any chance know how to fix this Kaktussoft?:)
