laptop keys stopped working. is system problem

I have a MSI GT780DXR a when i type with the "a" key it respond or i get "a0a" and other random characters. also the number keys on the number pad do the same. I tried using device manager and uninstalling and reinstalling the keyboard drivers but it didn't work. I also adjusted the language settings so see if that would correct it but it did not. Please help me. This is a system problem because it was spontaneous and worked 20 minutes ago. HELP!!!!

Shut down the laptop, take the battery out, and keep it out for five minutes. Then plug it back in. If that doesn't work, see if there are drivers for the keyboard on the manufacturers website.
