Windows 7 Ultimate 7600.16397

Well, problem solved...

I've installed the Windows 7 under BIOS setting for the HDD AHCI.
After checking BIOS I've found the same setting has to IDE after loading the BIOS optimal settings meanwhile. Moving the setting back to AHCI showed the DVD drive in the windows 7.. Why is that I don't know - maybe somebody can explain.

Thank you!

Because Windows OS was setup to use AHCI only, and when you changed it the OS could not read the items via the BIOS since AHCI was disabled, which is what the OS was looking for.

Glad you figured it out.
