Printer's SD card reader gone from My Computer--after I clicked Remove

My Epson 610 printer has a memory card reader built in, and the memory card has always shown up in My Computer. So when I want to pull files off an SD card, I just put the card into the printer's slots and go to My Computer to copy them to my computer. The printer is connected via ethernet to a hub that my PC is also connected to.

Recently I right cilcked on the printer's card reader drive in My Computer (lets call it drive R:\ and clicked "Remove".

Now I can't seem to figure out how to get the card reader drive to appear in My computer again. I've tried restarting and I've tried looking in the options on the printer and in the printer's driver settings with no luck. Other printer tasks work fine (printing and scanning are unaffected).

    Go into the Device Manager.

    Click on your PC's name.

Pull down "Action". Select "Scan for hardware changes".

    Anything?

Not so clear about the problem. But here is the Idea.
If the card is recognized as USB device then it will always be found when your PC restarted. Or, clicking refreshed on device manager.

If the card is recognized as ma apped network device then you should be able to re-access it through the network icon in windows explorer. Or if you remember its IP address then you just type it on address bar (i.e. \\xxx.xxx.x.xx)

Hope that helps you a bit.

    Kevin

Edit: Considering your printer is connected through a hub, it is possible that your card is a network device

I've got a device under other devices that shows "unknown device".
After doing the scan for hardware changes, I get:
"Device driver software was not successfully installed" (No driver found)

A couple important things to note. There's a chance that that has always been there because there are 1 or 2 drivers on my motherboard that I removed (bluetooth, since I never use it).

Also, this whole time there IS a drive in My Computer that shows up as "Removable Disk (O:)", and I don't know what other drive it might be. However it doesn't have the same name as before, and when I put an SD card in the printer's slot, it doesn't show any files / drive size / or any other activity. Trying to open up this drive just displays the error "please insert a disk into removable disk (O:)".

Unfortunately I don't remember if the printer's memory card slot had the same drive letter as this does, or if this extra "Removable Disk (O:)" that does nothing was present before this issue.

Ok nevermind, I reinstalled the printer drivers and its back now.

the extra removable drive was from a card reader on my monitor that I had thought I removed a while back
