Inexpensive Wired Router Recommendation? My six-year old D-link router just died. I know next to nothing about these devices. I just need a basic wired router with one wan port and at least 3 of the other ports (lan ports?) to connect to computer, tivo, media player. I use a Time-Warner cable-modem, if that makes any difference. Thanks much. | My System Specs |

I have used Net Gear routers for years with no complications ever. They install efforstlessly, and work tirelessly.
They're not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. You would be hard-pressed to find a home router that wasn't inexpensive, to be honest. I used to recommend Linksys, but they have been doing some strange things with updates. I also have a Netgear, and it's been flawless. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i7-2600 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD3P-B3 Memory 12 GB Patriot Extreme DDR3-1333 Graphics Card Nvidia GTX 470 Monitor(s) Displays Dell UltraSharp 2209WA PSU OCZ ModStream 700W Case CoolerMaster HAF 912 Advanced Cooling CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus Hard Drives OCZ Agility3 240 GB, WD5001AALS, WD7501AALS |

I use this Asus RTN12 300M Super Speed. I just use it hard wired. Remove the antennas and covered the antenna ports with tin foil. So far it has worked great but I don't use WIFI so I can't tell you how that works. Various prices $40.00 to $50.00.
