Max temp for i7-3770k?

What is the maximum operating temperature for the i7-3770k? And what would happen when it reaches it?

The so-called TDP is 95 degrees I think. It should throttle itself to a lower speed to prevent heat damage. As far as I know, they will run long-term in the 70s without issues.

TJ MAX of that CPU should be 105*C, and extreme OC'ing can run close to 80*C without any ill effects. Of course, YMMV. And, CPU throttling occurs at some point before that to keep from ruining your CPU.
